Go ahead. Take that client out for a round of golf and a steak dinner. Be just like everyone else courting their business. Or, you could stand head and shoulders above the competition and show your clients, employees, friends, a time they’ll never forget for as long as they live: Bring them to a professional racing event with your sponsored race car and driver.
Sponsorship, or as Michael likes to call it, partnership, is one of the most effective ways to promote your brand. There are several options available at different price points. Let’s get together and show people how great your product is.
We’re not talking about multi-million dollar F1 type sponsorships. We can get started for just a few hundred dollars.
Individual race sponsorship is divided into the following categories:
- The Bronze package. This will get you a small logo on the car, and depending on the series, a ticket to the race where you can have your photo taken with or even in the car in the paddock area.
- The Silver level. This includes everything from the Bronze package, plus a mention in a press release, and a second ticket to the race.
- Taking the step to Gold gets you a medium sized logo on the car, a mention in a press release, social media coverage, a mention in any television interviews at the race event, and depending on the series, up to five tickets to the race.
- Moving up to the Platinum level will get you everything from the Gold package, but with a larger logo, more social media, up to ten tickets to the race, and promotional materials can be given to the fans at the race.
Full car full season sponsorship is also available in the following categories:
- Touring Car (TCA in the Pirelli World Challenge)
- TCR (TCR in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Sport Cup)
- Grand Touring Sport (GTS in the Pirelli World Challenge)
- GT4 (GS in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Sport Cup)
- Grand Touring (GT in the Pirelli World Challenge or GTD in IMSA)
- Prototype (various prototype series around the world)
- eSports (iRacing options for just about any car or series) – this one fits any budget
You’ll have everything the Platinum level sponsorship provides and more. Full car full season sponsorship includes a “hard card” which allows access nearly anywhere for the race weekend. You’re a part of the team and get to watch the race from just about anywhere you desire, including the pits. Guest “hard cards” can be provided for your esteemed clients, colleagues, employees, or family depending on the series. Guaranteed television coverage, a minimum number of mentions by the announcers over the facility public address system and on television, rights to use small clips of the car in races for your promotional materials, and more. A full season has room for negotiation on what you get for your investment, so let’s start the conversation.
